NYU Value-Added Galaxy Catalog
SDSS users may access the data through the "alfred" account on sdss.physics.nyu.edu, as described here.
The sample changes over time, but we will retain old versions. Thus, you should check this page to find out what the latest version is. The latest (last?) version is:
VAGC_REDUX=/global/data/vagc-dr7/vagc2We recommend that you set an environmental variable $VAGC_REDUX to the root directory in which you store your copy; we will use this variable below when referring to all paths. The "alfred" account will always have this variable set to the latest version.
The Large-Scale Structure samples built out of a VAGC version are stored under the directory tree:
LSS_REDUX=/global/data/sdss/lss/and can be retrieved in the same way. Again, we recommmend that you set $LSS_REDUX to whatever the corresponding directory on your system is. The latest version of the LSS samples are in "$LSS_REDUX/dr72".
