object_galex.fits

This file contains the GALEX GR1 catalog matched to the object_sdss_imaging file.

The columns of this file are the same as those in the "merged" catalog files (mcat files) described on the GALEX web site.

This file only contains unique matches to object_sdss_imaging objects. In order to access all matches from GR1, look in the file:

$VAGC_REDUX/galex/galex_catalog.fits

The file object_galex.fits has a column GALEX_POSITION which yields the zero-indexed position in the full galex_catalog.fits file.
